This course contains two presentations. The first presentation provides an overview on how to use the ACI 515.2R-13 guide when selecting protective treatments as well as describe the most common treatment types. The second presentation will cover concrete waterproofing and chemical protection using crystalline technology.
1. Explain how the ACI 515.2R-13 guide can be used to identify many kinds of chemical attacks and recommend possible protective treatment solutions for each chemical.
2. Describe different constraints and conditions that impact the concrete protective system selection.
3. Identify the characteristics of crystalline and explain how it works to waterproof concrete.
4. Describe how to apply crystalline products.
