This course provides an overview of construction and project examples using GFRP. The presentation will introduce the appropriate construction specifications for Engineers and Contractors to use when applying GFRP, as well as many of the more nuanced means and methods. Additionally, this presentation will cover many of the diverse projects that have been completed across the globe using GFRP.
1. Understand the construction specification environment around GFRP.
2. Describe the detailing standards for GFRP and their differences compared to conventional steel detailing.
3. Learn of other codes and standards for design of GFRP.
4. Understand key applications based upon prior case studies and project examples.
