This course will cover the basics of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC). The course content will define UHPC and its properties, describe several applications of UHPC, and explain the differences between UHPC and conventional concrete with regards to proportioning, mixing, placing, finishing, and curing.

The contents of this course include three recorded presentations.
• What is UHPC? by Royce Floyd, The University of Oklahoma
• Field Considerations of UHPC by Peter Siebert, UHPC|SOLUTIONS
• Applications of UHPC by Michael D. McDonagh, WSP USA
1. Define ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC).
2. Describe UHPC properties.
3. Explain differences between proportioning UHPC mixes and conventional concrete.
4. Describe mixing, placement, and curing procedures for UHPC.
5. List typical applications of UHPC.
