This course provides an overview of the ACI document, Guide to the Code Requirements for Assessment, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Existing Concrete Structures (MNL-3). It will cover the history and evolution of the guide and explain the key components and latest updates to this latest version of the manual. Additionally, a few detailing examples will also be illustrated.

The contents of this course include a recorded presentation from Khaled Nahlawi and Keith Kesner.

1. Recognize that ACI 563 is the specification standard for existing concrete repair work.
2. Realize that ACI 562 is a repair code for existing concrete structures.
3. Explain the repair process as outlined in ACI 562.
4. Describe that the guide to the repair code’s main purpose is to help professionals gain more knowledge, skill, and judgment to interpret and properly use ACI 562.
