These chapters cover the requirements for test specimens, anchor installation, testing, and anchor identification.
This document is covered in three parts.
1. Understand the number of tests required for an anchor and the source of the test results (independent testing and evaluation agency or manufacturer).
2. Identify the requirements for concrete mixture proportioning for concrete used in the assessment of anchors.
3. Recognize the importance of installing the anchor systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s printed installation instructions (MPII) for the anchor qualification.
4. Describe the concept of fingerprinting the adhesive materials from an adhesive anchor system.
