This module is based on RAP7(05)(Reapproved 2010)- Spall Repair of Horizontal Concrete Surfaces. The document is intended as a voluntary field guide for the owner, design professional, and concrete repair contractor interested in performing spall repairs on flatwork. The document was developed by ACI Committee E706 and approved by the ACI Educational Activities Committee.

1. Provide examples of the types of repairs for which this application is useful.
2. Recognize the undercutting recommendations for concrete with corroded reinforcing steel.
3. Explain the guidelines for sawcutting size and depth for a horizontal concrete surface repair.
4. Discuss curing and protection considerations for spall repairs.

Read and study the materials included in this module. Then, complete and pass the corresponding 10-question quiz with a score of 80% or higher to receive a certificate for 0.1 CEU (equivalent to 1.0 PDH). This online course is not approved for credit with the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB).
