This is a recorded webinar from December 3.

Nondestructive testing (NDT) has been present in the assessment of structures for many years, but the methods have continued to evolve to better accommodate the industry. This webinar will present the modern capabilities and limitations of commonly used NDT methods including ground-penetrating radar, cover meters, impact-echo, ultrasonic pulse velocity, ultrasonic pulse echo, and others. The mechanics behind the methods and common use cases will be discussed to further detail each methods’ abilities and enhance the listeners ability to assess their own NDT data collection and results.
1. Explain the mechanics behind each nondestructive method to effectively use the methods' capabilities and limitations
2. Analyze data interpretation by considering the influence of environmental and device factors.
3. Evaluate and select the appropriate nondestructive test based on common and uncommon project requirements.
4. Compare and recommend complementary devices to provide a comprehensive analysis of a structure.
