This course provides an introduction to Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC), an emerging class of cementitious materials with exceptional strength, durability, and tensile performance. Learners will explore the defining characteristics of UHPC, its constituent materials, production and placement considerations, mechanical and durability properties, and common applications. The course also examines key differences between UHPC and conventional concrete, along with practical considerations for achieving quality UHPC construction.
  1. Define UHPC and its key characteristics.
  2. Identify the materials and properties of UHPC.
  3. Describe production and placement considerations.
  4. Explain the role of fiber reinforcement.
  5. Recognize common UHPC applications and benefits.

Study the materials included in this module. Then, complete and pass the corresponding 10-question quiz with a score of 80% or higher to receive a certificate for 0.2 CEU (2.0 PDH).
